In short all of our heat presses are high quality and designed to perform and last. You can buy cheaper but you also get a cheaper performance and reliability.
Our selection of heat presses covers most it not all types. We include two types of mug presses, one from Europa and one from Geo Knight.
Our cap & plate heat presses are for the more specialised use. These presses are shaped to press caps and separately, firmly so there's little to no chance of failed prints. Both types of presses are available from our Europa and Geo Knight range.
It's not the easiest question to answer, really it's 90% choice and 10% operation. Swing Heat Presses all you to move the heat element right out the way, permitting easy access to the base plate, your items and with no danger of burning yourself. There are a few cases where a swing press is definitely required, these include the more cutting edge, but difficult to create, laser transfer papers for blank shirts, and the very rare sublimation item.
In reality the clam heat presses are cheaper. The close at an angle so the pressure at the back of the press is a little more firm than at the front of the heat press. 99 time out of 100, a clam shell heat press will perform perfectly on any item.
